detexts is a macOS application for speech-to-text and translation. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use it on the Macs you own or control.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Manage Subscription inside the app (the Stripe Customer Portal); your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. Payments are handled by Stripe.
If detexts isn't for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund you. Refunds after 14 days are at our discretion.
If you connect a third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), you are responsible for that account and any usage costs it incurs.
Don't use detexts unlawfully, and don't attempt to resell, redistribute, or circumvent its licensing.
detexts is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that transcription or translation will be accurate or uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, detexts and its developer are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid in the 12 months before a claim.
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.
